After recording seven tackles and recovering an onside kick in his first collegiate start at North Carolina, sophomore linebacker Blake Houser joins Voice of the Spiders Bob Black and Director of Football Public Relations Christian Gravius on this week's podcast. Blake reveals who helped the most as he prepared for the UNC game, and analyzes his play on defense and special teams. Bob and Christian wrap up the North Carolina game, and after three straight road games, are excited to preview Saturday's home opener at Robins Stadium against state rival VMI. Ned discusses his busy and successful first two games and explains why playing football in America, and specifically for the Spiders, is a dream come true. Christian and Bob recap the long night that ended in victory at Wofford and look ahead to the trip to Chapel Hill for Satuday's meeting with coach Bill Belichick and the North Carolina Tar Heels. Sophomore wide receiver and kick return specialist Isaiah Dawson joins Voice of the Spiders Bob Black and Director of Football Public Relations Christian Gravius. He'll describe his 99-yard touchdown kickoff return that tied Saturday's game at Lehigh, as well as his 15-yard reverse that was stopped at the 1-yard line, leading to a Spider touchdown. Isaiah also discusses his role as a sophomore wide receiver after watching and learning during his freshman season.
