- Ran in all three events in the winter cross country season
- Finished the first race of the season with a time of 21:17.8 at the Richmond Winter Cross Country Classic
- Improved her time at the Spider-Patriot Cross Country Classic with a time of 20:28.9
- Continued to improve on her season-best time at the Atlantic 10 Championship race, finishing with a time of 20:23.2

- Placed ninth overall in the 3,000m (10:42.99) at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational
Outdoor
- Placed fourth overall in the 5,000m at the Fred Hardy Invitational (18:34.58)
- Named 5A Female Athlete of the Year by the Virginia High School League for its Allstate Foundation/VHSL Achievement Award
- Earned National Scholastic All-America honors in the Distance Medley Relay by placing 4th at the 2017 New Balance Outdoor National Championships
- Earned numerous All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State honors in Cross Country and Track & Field
- Ran a PR of 18:30 in XC at the Milestat.com XC Invitational in 2016
- Finished 3rd in the 3200m at the 2017 VHSL 5A State Championships and was a member of the state champion 4x800m relay
- Ran the 8th fastest 3200m among all VA seniors this spring (11:00.53)
