Spider Junior Mike Finn Sets A School Record In The 200 Meter Dash At The Navy Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - At this weekend's seven-team Navy Invitational, Spider junior Mike Finn (Corona DelMar, Calif.) posted a school-record time of 23.21 in the 200 meter dash.
A host of first place finishes were turned in by Spider runners, including by freshman Jeff Wilburn (Hingham, Mass.) in the high jump, clearing 6'0."
Finn and Davis teamed with sophomore Matt Beck (Kennett Square, Pa.), junior Ryan Tolhurst (Pittsburgh, Pa.) to claim the one mile relay in 3:24.55. Beck and sophomore Matt Hannay (Princeton, N.J.) placed second in the 400 meter run (51.94) and one mile run (4:46.93), respectively. Freshman Paul Miguel (Hopewell, N.J.) registered a second place finish in the 800 meter run in 2:05.06.
In the 400 meter run, senior Chris Albanese (Centerach, N.Y.) came in third place, clocking 52.38, senior Chris Martin (Austin, Texas) placed third in the shot put with a throw of 39'3."
In addition to freshman Tim Caramore (East Greenbush, N.Y.) finishing fourth in the 1,000 meter run in 2:40.70, fellow newcomer Stephen Pang (Landenberg, Pa.) was fifth in the 200 meter dash (26.75) and seventh in the 55 meter dash (7.52). Sophomore Jeff Watson (Darien, Conn.) notched a fifth place finish in the 3,000 meter run in 9:31.72, while freshman Seann Mulcahy (Wynantskill, N.Y.) posted a sixth place finish in the 3,000 meter run (9:45.30).
A host of Richmond's men's runners will go to both Penn State and Christopher Newport on Friday and Saturday, January 26-27, while the women's team will visit Christopher Newport on Saturday, January 27.
