Spiders Sixth In Team Semifinals

Newport News, Virginia - The University of Richmond finished in sixth place in the team semifinals at the 2001 U.S. Collegiate Synchronized Swimming Championships at the Midtown Aquatic Center in Newport News, Va.
Richmond's patriotic Armed Services tribute earned a score of 85.733. Richmond B's Bruce "Born in the USA" routine finished 10th with a score of 79.817.
The finals will take place on Saturday, March 31.
