Binswanger tallied three goals and two assists as Richmond went 2-1 this week. She scored the Spiders' first goal and then added an assist on their second in a 3-2 victory against VCU on Wednesday night. The rookie then recorded one goal and one assist in a 3-0 win against Duquesne on Friday. On Sunday, the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week netted Richmond's lone goal in a 2-1 overtime loss at St. Bonaventure.
Season-To-Date Recap
Binswanger's goal-scoring streak now stands at five games and she leads the team with six goals and 14 points. She has 36 shots, including a season-high eight against Massachusetts on Oct. 4. Binswanger has played in all 13 matches, starting five.

"Brooke is off to a great start and is having a very strong first year," head coach Peter Albright said. "The goals (5 in 5 games) are only part of the story, as she defends her position well, makes great runs, and can hold the ball under pressure. I am really pleased with both her contributions and her progress."
