Pelet finished sixth at the James Madison Invitational in Harrisonburg on Sunday and Monday. In his second collegiate tournament, Pelet carded a three-round 210 (71-70-69) to finish three-under-par. His 69 is the team's lowest round so far this fall.
Season-To-Date Recap
After six collegiate rounds, Pelet leads the team with a 71.8 scoring average. He has improved every round, firing a 78-72-71 in his first event (Mid-Pines Intercollegiate) and folllowing that with this week's 71-70-69 at the JMU Invitational.

"John is playing extremely well right now," head coach Kevin Lynch said. "He has come in and led our team as a freshman."
