Richmond finished third in the Virginia All-Sport Survey.

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond won .590 percent (161-111-7) of its contests during the 2003-04 year and finished third overall in the 26th annual Virginia Sports Information Director's Association Division I All-Sport Survey. Richmond captured the women's standings for the second consecutive year as the Spider women's team posted a .641 winning percentage (83-46-2).
The men's teams finished fourth after winning .544 percent (78-65-6) of their games. Last year the Spiders finished second in the survey.
In 2003-04, the Spiders won their second consecutive Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Cup, an annual award give to the school with the most overall success in league competition, and earned seven post-season berths. Richmond claimed five conference championships (women's cross-country, field hockey, swimming and diving, men's tennis and women's tennis and took two regular season titles (field hockey and men's soccer).
Virginia won 2003-04 All-Sport Survey after winning .644 percent of its games.
