RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond football program held its annual media day at UR Stadium following an early-morning scrimmage on Saturday.
After a scrimmage that featured crisp play on both sides of the ball, the Spiders dressed in their home blue uniforms for a series of photographs.
The Spiders posed for a team shot, a position shot with their position coach and individual shots. During the picture session, first-year head coach Dave Clawson and several Spiders were interviewed by local media that were invited to the event.
Pre-season camp ends on Sunday as the Spiders begin fall semester classes on Monday, August 23. Richmond's 2004 season kicks off at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4 at NC State.
The Spiders' home opener will be played at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25 against Lafayette at UR Stadium.
