Shopping With The Spiders

Richmond, Va. - Back to School shopping isn't the only reason to visit Short Pump Town Center this Saturday. Members of the Spider Football team will be at the mall to meet the Richmond community, sign autographs and pose for pictures just seven days before their 2004 season kicks off. New head coach Dave Clawson and select student-athletes will be at the fountain in the main courtyard from 2-5 p.m. The Spiders open this fall's campaign in Raleigh at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4 against NC State. The home-opener is Saturday, Sept. 25, a 1 p.m. game against Lafayette.
