Spiders Stay 7th In Latest I-AA Poll

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -
For the second straight week, the Spiders find themselves seventh in the I-AA Top 25 College Football poll, released Monday by The Sports Network. It also marks the tenth consecutive week that Richmond has been ranked, dating back to last season.
The Spiders are coming off another impressive, record-setting victory, 48-21 over Bucknell. In back-to-back games, Richmond has posted 106 points, the most in consecutive contests in school history.
Also for the second straight week, the Atlantic 10 Conference placed three teams in the Top120 and six in the Top 25. New Hampshire is again the top-ranked team.
The Spiders (3-0) conclude a three-week homestand this Saturday in the league-opener against Northeastern. Kickoff at UR Stadium is 1pm.
