"With Justin's pace and willingness to dribble people, we fully expect Justin to make an impact on our team immediately," Gettler said.
Larkin is a teammate of Grove's at Clover Hill High, where he was a four-year letterwinner. The 6-1, 190-pound back was an all-district and all-region honoree as a junior.
"With three seniors and a junior in the back, we hope Daniel will add depth to the back line and develop," Gettler said.
Russell is a four-year letterwinner from Farragut High in Farragut, Tenn., where he was named all-state, all-district and all-region as a junior. The 6-0, 170-pound forward led Farragut High to the state title in 2006 as the team's top goal scorer.
"Jake has the quickness, toughness and scoring touch to make an impact on our team right away as a freshman," Gettler said.
Scherer was an all-state selection as a junior in 2006 at Governor Thomas Jefferson High after he led his team with 12 goals to go with two assists. The 5-10, 155-pound forward from Ijamsville, Md. was named team MVP and Frederick County Defensive MVP as a sophomore in 2005. Thorup was named all-state, all-conference, team MVP and was the runner-up for conference Player of the Year in 2005. In 2006, he helped Forsyth to the state title.
"We think Alex has the potential to develop into a good Division I college keeper," Gettler said. "This coming year should be a great chance for him to be the understudy to Eric Sciocchetti."
Wesenberg is a 6-2, 175-pound back who was a four-year letterwinner at Bend High in Bend, Ore. Wesenberg was all-state honorable mention at Bend High.
"Devin has good size and good understanding of the game," Gettler said. "We expect him to get time this year and be a player who could lead our back line in the future."
