Thursday, Dec. 18
The Spiders spent the morning helping construct a new home as part of a Habitat For Humanity project. In the afternoon, Coach Mike London, DE Lawrence Sidbury, Jr., QB Eric Ward, RB Josh Vaughan and LB Patrick Weldon particpated in a final press conference before Friday's championship game. The squad finished the day with a walk-thru at Finley Stadium. In the evening, the team was introduced to UR Hall of Famer and former NFL and Major League standout Brian Jordan, who addressed the team and will be in attendance at the championship game.
Wednesday, Dec. 17
The University of Richmond football team got its first look at Finley Stadium/Davenport Field -- the site of the 2008 FCS National Championship -- with media interviews and a two-hour practice on Wednesday.
