UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND - With the start of camp just days away, RichmondSpiders.com is your source for Training Camp coverage of the reigning CAA Champions and NCAA Semifinalist Richmond Football Team. You can find photo galleries, interviews, video highlights, team updates and much more, all on the Spiders' newly-designed website site set to launch late next week.
First-year head coach Mike London welcomes his team back to campus Sunday, with the first official practice of the 2008 season slated for Monday at First Market Stadium at 4 p.m. Sunday's activities include physicals, photos, an NCAA compliance seminar and a team dinner.
Coming of the most successful season in school history, the Spiders return 16 starters, are ranked as high as No. 3 in the national top-25 polls and were picked as the CAA South Division Champion.

Richmond opens the season on the road at Elon, another team ranked in the preseason top-25, at 7 p.m. August 30. The following week has the Spiders on the road at Virginia (3:45 p.m. on ESPNU), before opening at home versus Towson on Sept. 13.
