Spiders Headed To Baltimore Wednesday For 2009 CAA Football Media Day

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond head coach Mike London, senior QB Eric Ward and senior OL Matt McCracken are headed to Baltimore to participate in the 2009 CAA Football Media Day, which begins Wednesday morning at the ESPNZone on the Inner Harbor.
Spider Fans can follow the reigning National Champions at Media Day by visiting the Spider Football Twitter Page and RichmondSpiders.com. Stay tuned to the Spiders' Official Athletics Website for the announcement of the Preseason All-Conference Team and the Preseason Coaches' Poll.
CAASports.com also plans full coverage of the event at its Media Day Central, which will include student-athlete video blogs, other video features and photos from the kickoff event.
Hardly Workin' with Greg Burton on the Spiders' flagship radio station ESPN 950, will record segments of their afternoon show during event. Hardly Workin' airs every day from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Spiders' affiliate also plans to produce a 2009 CAA Football Preview Radio Show which will air at various times throughout the 2009 preseason.
WRHU (Hofstra) will be on the air live at 10 a.m. with interviews with coaches and athletes. Coach London is an the air with WRHU at approximately 11:40 a.m. ET.
