Recapping Richmond Football's Postseason Honors And Awards

Richmond's Postseason Awards Notables...
• Senior DT Martin Parker became just the fifth consensus First Team All-America in school history and second in as many seasons -- OL Matt McCracken (2009), LB Eric Johnson (1992), DB Jeff Nixon (1978) and WR Walker Gillette (1969).
• Senior LB Eric McBride is just the fourth Spider all-time to earn a conference Defensive Player of the Year Award -- DB James Smith (1990, Yankee Conference), LB Shawn Barber (1997, Atlantic 10) and DL Marc Megna (1998, A-10).
• Senior CB/PR Justin Rogers became just the second player in CAA Football's all-time history to be a First Team All-Conference selection in four-consecutive years. The only other player to accomplish it was James Madison S Tony LeZotte (2004-2007).
• Richmond boasted eight CAA Football All-Conference selections, including a league-leading seven First Team mentions.
