Opening Statement
"Obviously very disappointed. Credit James Madison. They played a good football game. We started off well. We played well for a while, just couldn't
generate anything on offense the whole day."
On lack of offense
"I'm in charge of the offense and I put the blame on myself. We didn't play well enough on offense. JMU did a great job of putting pressure
on the quarterback and they did a nice job of doubling Tre Gray."
On UR's defensive line
"We're down three starters, but you can't use that as any
kind of excuse. Some of those kids
stepped in there and played hard, but Evan Kelly was out and hopefully we'll
get Corey (Jackson) and Kerry (Wynn) back either this week or after the bye
week. We've had to have a lot of
young guys step in and they've played hard, but we don't make excuses for the
guys that aren't here."
On offensive
corrections moving forward
"We've got to get the running game going a little
better. I've got to call some more
runs to balance some thing out, and some screens and some different things on
third downs to help those kids out.
They've got a great defensive line and that's one of the strengths of
their team. We've got to protect
Aaron."
On punt block
"We knew we could get it. Coach (Dave) Legg does a great job on special teams. We thought going in we could get it and
we had a chance on a few others.
It was a great start for us. Unfortunately we didn't do much after that."

"I take my hat off to the young guys that stepped up, but we just need to execute some of the schemes better. We gave great effort, but JMU played a great game."
