Kick Off Homecoming With Bonfire Friday Night
UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND -- The Spiders are inviting their students, alumni, staff, fans and members of the community to celebrate Homecoming with the annual bonfire Friday night.
All are welcomed to begin gathering on the University's IM Field at 8:45 p.m. Friday evening with apple cider, hot chocolate, and Krispy Kreme Donuts being provided. Head Coach Wayne Lineburg and the football team will arrive approximately 9:15 p.m. and the bonfire will be lit soon after.
This Richmond tradition precedes a pivotal Homecoming football game Saturday at Robins Stadium when the 18th-ranked Spiders host first-place and ninth-ranked Maine. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. and a limited number of tickets are still on sale.
