Postgame Notes: Richmond Falls To UMass

Team Notes
- Richmond continues to lead the league in Red Zone defense and that trend continued Saturday as the Spiders limited UMass to just three scores on its seven possessions in the Red Zone.
- The Spiders' five-game skid is the team's longest since dropping five-straight in 2004.
- UMass extends its lead in the all-time series to 14-12 and the Minutemen have won nine of the 14 games played in Richmond.
- After allowing just seven first-quarter points all season, Richmond yielded 21 points in the first quarter to UMass.
Player Notes
- Senior QB Aaron Corp finished 22 of 39 passing for 196 yards. He now stands 10th all-time at Richmond with 2,625 passing yards in his two years as a Spider.
- Corp's 1,980 yards this season moves him into a tie for 10th on Richmond's single-season passing yards list with Bob Bleier (1984).
- Corp's 255 career completions at Richmond moves him to eighth on Richmond's career list.
- Senior WR Tre Gray recorded 10 catches for 105 yards and a TD. It was his third TD this season, and his first since scoring twice in a Sept. 17 win over VMI.
- Gray has recorded five of his six career 100-yard receiving games this season. He is now tied for fourth on the Spiders' career list for 100-yard games.
- Junior LB Darius McMillan recorded his eighth double-digit tackle game of the season, leading the game with 12 stops.
- Senior S Colin Pehanick had eight tackles and recorded a sack for the second-straight week. Pehanick set a new career high with 2.5 TFL.
- Redshirt freshman S Reggie Barnette established a career high with six tackles.
