Senior QB Aaron Corp
[On team responding to straight losses]: I'm just really proud of our offensive line. They played really well. I'm just sick to my stomach right now. I felt like we could have won the game. They didn't get upset tonight. I'm just really proud of the way they responded.
[On game plan coming in]: Their defense did a good job of disguising coverages. We made it really simple coming in to the game. The offensive line gave me a ton of time. I'm just disappointed we didn't get the 'W'.
[On mood in locker room]. We're obviously disappointed. At same time, there's a lot of football left to be played. We have a bye week this next week, so we're going to rest up and come back ready against Maine.
Wayne Lineburg
[On team responding to last two weeks]: I'm proud of how hard they played. We just didn't make enough plays in the end. I'm so proud of the kids. We've just got to do better. The kids worked their tails off in practice though. We just didn't get it done tonight.
[On offense and the way they controlled the game]: We were able to run the ball well. Kendall did well. Aaron and the receivers and tight ends play well. We wish we could have had more points. We missed the field goal, too. That hurt us. Overall, we played well. The kids did well and we just didn't get enough in end.
[On play of defense]: They're fighting as hard as they can fight. They're trying to step up and play as hard as they can. We showed up there in the end. It's not a result of a lack of effort. I hope we can get back after the bye week. Hoping that we can fortify this group.
[On mentality heading into the bye week]: "I think we'll bounce back. This is a resilient group. They'll come back and we'll fight. We've just got to get some guys healthy. We'll come back and be ready to play. Like I said, we've just got to get guys healthy."
Sophmore DL BJ Scott
[On tonight's play] "They had a lot of running backs. We just didn't come out. We just didn't make enough plays. With the bye week coming up, that'll help. We'll come back and we'll be ready to play after this."
[On team's mentality moving forward] "Like I said, we didn't make enough plays. Tre reminded us that we made a run to the national championship several years ago. We can get back. We've just got to stick together and keep our heads up. We've just got to remember that."
[On the defense] "As far as our defense line, we have lots of young guys. I've got to step up as a leader because we have a lot of younger guys. We just need to get back to where we need to be and let the young guys know we're going to be all right."
[On run to playoffs]: It's time to regroup. We need time to get some guys back. I think time off to just relax and get off our feet will help. Come Maine, we'll be ready to go."
Sophomore WR Ben Edwards
[On team moving forward] "This team definitely has what it takes. If you look at the game, we played our hearts out. Our defense and offense both played well. We know what we're capable of. And sometimes it just doesn't bounce your way. Our bye week will be really crucial to get some guys back."
[On Corp]: "Corp is an amazing quarterback. I expect him to do amazing things and take his career on to the professionals. That's' what practice is for. We get to work on plays and our routes. And we've got to translate that into games, and I feel we did that tonight."
[On weapons we have on offense]: "You've got to give credit to the offensive line. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the offensive line can do. With the weapons we have, there's no telling. We have so many people. We're lethal. We've just got to keep clicking; take the bye week and move on."
[On team having what it takes to get back to playoffs] "I've only got one thing to say. In 2008, they were 4-3. We are supposed to do what we need to do as a team and we can get back. This team has the potential to get back because of the weapons we have."
