Richmond Football: No Excuses Debuts Sunday At 9 p.m.
UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND -- The University of Richmond has announced that its behind-the-scenes football
show set to air on Comcast SportsNet in late August will be titled Richmond
Football: No Excuses.
The Spiders last week unveiled their partnership with Comcast SportsNet and
3PennyFilms to produce a two-episode reality television series focused on
football training camp - one of the first of its kind for a Football
Championship Subdivision (FCS) team.
"We have been using the phrase 'No Excuses' throughout our preseason program,"
said head coach Latrell Scott. "So to have that as our title was naturally a
perfect fit."
A crew from the emmy-award winning 3PennyFilms has been documenting the
Spiders' 2011 Training Camp since it opened last week and the first 30-minute
show is set to air Sunday, August 21 at 9 p.m. and again Monday, August 22 at 9
p.m.
The second part airs the following Sunday and Monday at 9 p.m.
