Day 13 Recap: 2011 Training Camp
Just 17 days until Richmond opens the 2011 season at Duke and the Spiders put Day 13 of Training Camp in the books Wednesday afternoon.
"I think the intensity has dipped a bit over the last few days," said head coach Latrell Scott. "That's to be expected at this point of camp. But we have to focus on getting better as this week ends and gte ready for Saturday's scrimmage."
It's been a busy couple days around the Football Office as filming wrapped for the "Richmond Football: No Excuses" reality TV show that debuts on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic on Sunday at 9 p.m.
Also on Wednesday, the Spiders continued their annual tradition of helping the incoming freshmen and their families on Move-In Day.
Thursday, the Spiders have their final two-a-day of Training Camp. The morning workout begins at 8:15 a.m. on the Lower Grass Field, while the evening practice is open-to-the-public at 7 p.m. at Robins Stadium.
