Team Notes
- Richmond scored 40 points or more for the third time this season. The Spiders last scored 40 or more points in a win over VMI on Sept. 15, 2012 (47-6 win).
- The Spiders have dropped three-straight to New Hampshire and fell to 10-11 in the all-time series.
- Richmond is now 20-18 dating back to 2007 against ranked opponents, 0-2 this season.
- Today's game in Durham, N.H. marked the fourth time in five weeks Richmond has played on the road.
Player Notes
- QB John Laub rushed for over 100 yards, marking his first-career 100-yard rushing game.
- WR Ben Edwards posted over 100 yards receiving, marking the third game this season in which Edwards has recorded 100 or more receiving yards.
- Laub rushed for a career-long 53-yard run in the game's second quarter. Laub's previous career-long rush was an 18-yard run he had completed twice, most recently against Towson, Oct. 31, 2009.
- K Remington Hinshaw booted a 40-yard FG in the third quarter, besting his career-high (38 yards) previously tied against in the first quarter. (Hinshaw also had a 38-yard field goal against Old Dominion earlier this season).
- FB Kendall Gaskins ran for three touchdowns Saturday, marking 31 career touchdowns for his career. Gaskins surpassed Uly Scott for sole possession of third on Richmond's all-time scoring list. Gaskins is only four touchdowns shy of tying Josh Vaughan and eight scores shy of tying all-time great Tim Hightower on Richmond's career list.
- QB Michael Strauss posted his second touchdown pass of the season to Stephen Barnette.
- LB Darius McMillian recorded his first sack of the season.
- CB Ayo Ogunniyi recorded his first-career interception.
- DB Justin Grant had a 76-yard kickoff return.
