2013 Summer Swim Camp
2013 RICHMOND SPIDERS
SWIM CAMP
WHO: The camps are ideal for summer-league and year-round boys and girls ages 8-18 who want to develop advanced swimming skills. The camps will not serve as swim lessons. Swimmers between ages 14-18 will use more advanced techniques including video analysis.
WHAT: Land and water sessions will aim to create championship quality swimming habits. All aspects of competitive swimming will be covered: the four competitive swim strokes, racing starts, turns, and race strategy.
SAMPLE SUNDAY Ages 8-18 (4 hours): Swimmers check-in at noon and receive camp gift (t-shirt and cap). Introduction to camp staff followed by swim session until 4:00 p.m.

LUNCH: The campers will walk to Richmond’s Heilman Dining Center for lunch on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday under the supervision of the coaching staff. Lunch fee is included in camp costs.
EQUIPMENT: All campers will need a competitive swim suit and goggles. No two piece suit for the girls. No board shorts for the boys. Shorts, shirts, towels, and shoes are necessary for land activities including lunch. Swimmers aged 14-18 will need a center-mounted snorkel. Contact Matt Barany prior to camp for snorkel suggestions.

A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $150 is due at time of registration. Final payment is due two weeks before the start of camp.
