Spider Football Practice Report No. 12
UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Coming off its first off day of training camp, the Spider Football team returned to the practice field on Monday morning. The team practiced for two hours at Robins Stadium, working in individual drills, 11-on-11's, special teams and the two-minute drill.
The next two days for the Spiders will be busy ones, as the team will have a two-a -day on Tuesday and scrimmages both tomorrow and Wednesday.
Tuesday's scrimmage will begin at 9:35 AM at Robins Stadium and run for approximately one hour. Wednesday's scrimmage will be the most extensive of the camp, running from 6-8 PM at Robins Stadium.
This fall, all practices during training camp are open to the public. With practices being held at both Robins Stadium and the Grass Practice Fields on River Road, fans attending practice are asked to remain in the bleachers. In Robins Stadium, fans are asked to sit in the stands on the west side of the stadium.
