Roane, Gaskins On Tuesday's Spider Sportsline

Two of the many standouts from Saturday's thrilling victory over No. 2 JMU, sophomore Aaron Roane and senior Kendall Gaskins, join football coach Danny Rocco for The Spider Sportsline at Outback Steakhouse, 7917 W. Broad Street, Tuesday, noon-1 p.m. The live radio show airs on ESPN 950, RichmondSpiders.com and on Spider Mobile, the Richmond Athletics App available on Android and iPhone.

Roane, named CAA Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts against JMU, recorded a career-high 14 tackles, including a quarterback sack and seven solo stops, one of which thwarted the Dukes on a fourth-and-one play. Roane was the leading tackler in Saturday's game.
Gaskins, a senior captain, rushed for a career high 106 yards on 21 carries and a 40-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that proved to be the winning touchdown. Gaskins also caught two passes for 31 yards.
Outback Steakhouse, 7917 W. Broad Street, is the home of The Spider Sportsline throughout the football and basketball seasons. Outback is open for lunch seven days a week at 11 a.m. and offers daily lunch specials.
