Dominating Defense Featured On TODAY'S Sportsline
The Spider Sportsline with head football coach Danny Rocco and host Bob Black returnsTuesday from noon-1pm for another season at its popular location, Outback Steakhouse, 7917 W. Broad Street. The live radio show will air on ESPN 950 and RichmondSpiders.com, giving fans an opportunity to enjoy lunch and talk Spider Football.
Tuesday's special player guests are redshirt junior defensive lineman Evan Kelly and senior linebacker Walt Sparks. The duo helped the Spiders shutout VMI Saturday, 34-0 in Saturday's season opener at Robins Stadium, limiting the Keydetes to 174 yards of total offense.
Fans, alums and corporate partners are encouraged to attend, enjoy lunch, and talk Spider and college football. Listeners can call-in during the program at 804-345-0950 or 233-7680. Emails can be sent anytime to spidersportsline@richmond.edu and will be read on-the-air.

Outback Steakhouse, 7917 W. Broad Street, is the home of The Spider Sportsline every Tuesday throughout the football season. Outback is open for lunch seven days a week at 11 a.m. and offers daily lunch specials, including Spider discounts on Tuesdays during the show.
