The Richmond Spiders dispatched the Morgan State Bears, 46-24, in the first round of the FCS Playoffs. The 46 points scored for Richmond is the most in any FCS Playoff game in team history, while the 22 first-quarter points were not only the most in the first 15 minutes in school history, but also the most first-half points scored by the team in any postseason game.
Dynamic All-CAA WR Duo
WR Reggie Diggs and WR Brian Brown have provided a great, 1-2 punch for Richmond this year. Diggs, a Second-Team All-CAA honoree, ranks second in the CAA in receiving yards (1,017) and third in receptions (77). Brown, a Third-Team All-CAA honoree, is third in the league in receiving yards (908) and fourth in receptions (71).
Rocco’s Impressive Record in November
