Spider Football Opens Training Camp On Monday
UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Richmond Spiders football team will begin training camp at Robins Stadium on Monday, August 4.
The Spiders will have 20 practices leading up to its 2014 season opener against Morehead State at Robins Stadium on August 30. Under head coach Danny Rocco, all 20 of the Spiders practices will be open to the public for the third-consecutive year.
With practices being held at both Robins Stadium and the Grass Practice Fields on River Road, fans attending practice are asked to remain in the bleachers. In Robins Stadium, fans are asked to sit in the stands on the west side of the stadium. Only coaches, players, scouts and athletic personnel are allowed on the field. Fans are reminded that dates and times are subject to change due to weather.
