UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. – With the start of football camp on Aug. 6 quickly approaching, RichmondSpiders.com selected the Top 30 photos from the 2014 Richmond Spiders football season.

The 2014 season was one for the record books for the Spiders. Under head coach Danny Rocco, Richmond reached the FCS Playoffs for the first time since 2009 last season. UR defeated Morgan State in the first round, 46-24, at Robins Stadium, before falling on the road at No. 6 Coastal Carolina in the second round of the playoffs.
The Spiders finished the season ranked No. 16 in the nation in both major polls after posting an overall record of 9-5 and a mark of 5-3 in CAA league play. The nine victories on the year were the most for the team since 2009.
Individual game and season tickets for 2015 Spider Football at Robins Stadium are on sale now. The five-game home slate is highlighted by state showdowns with long-time rivals VMI and William & Mary, as well as traditional Homecoming and Family Weekend games.
