Defensive Player Of Week Waller, Evans On Sportsline Tuesday
CAA Coach of the Year Danny Rocco welcomes senior offensive lineman Thomas Evans and junior defensive lineman Brandon Waller to Outback Steakhouse, 7917 W. Broad St., for Tuesday's Spider Sportsline.
The popular radio show airs live from noon-1pm during the college football season on ESPN 950, SPORTSFM 100.5, espn950am.com and RichmondSpiders.com, as well as on tablets and mobile devices.
Waller led a suffocating Spider defense in the 34-0 whitewashing of Norfolk St. He recorded a team leading, career-high nine tackles, two-and-a-half for losses, and combined on a quarterback sack. He earned CAA Defensive Player of the Week honors for his effort.
Evans, a two-time captain who has made 16 consecutive starts at right guard, anchors a Spider offensive line that has helped Richmond average 35.5 points per game and 437.5 total yards per game. He is considered the strongest player in Richmond football history.

The Spider Sportsline with Coach Rocco will air live from Outback, 7917 W. Broad St., every Tuesday during the college football season. Outback Steakhouse is open for lunch seven days a week at 11 a.m.
