Mainsah, Collins Set For Sportsline Season Premiere Tuesday

This Tueday's season premiere of the Spider Sportsline with CAA Coach of the Year Danny Rocco will give fans a chance to relive and hear about the thrilling victory at Virginia, and get ready for the home opener at Robins Stadium. The 37-20 win over UVa propelled the Spiders to the number 2 spot in this week's FCS national rankings.
The popular radio show will be held this and every Tuesday from noon-1pm during the college football season at Outback Steakhouse, 7917 W. Broad St. It airs live on ESPN 950, SPORTSFM 100.5, espn950am.com and RichmondSpiders.com, as well as on tablets and mobile devices.
Coach Rocco is scheduled to be joined by redhirt junior defensive back Tafon Mainsah and junior running back Gordon Collins. Mainsah intercepted a pass, forced and recovered a fumble and had a tackle for loss against the Cavaliers. Collins rushed for a career-high 114 yards including a game-clinching 55-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Fans, alums and corporate partners are encouraged to attend the live shows, enjoy lunch and talk Spider and college football. Listeners can call-in during the program at 804-622-0950. Emails, texts and tweets can be sent anytime.
