Cheering on the Spiders
On campus, you can watch the Richmond men’s basketball and women’s basketball teams take the court at Robins Center. It only seats 7,201, but that intimate atmosphere makes it one of the best small-school arenas in the nation. Over at Robins Stadium, you can catch the men’s and women’s lacrosse and track and field teams in action. The Richmond football team also plays home games there as part of the FCS Coastal Athletic Association. It is one of the school’s most successful programs having won the 2008 FCS National Championship Game to bring home Richmond’s first national title.Â
