Connie Wang joined Richmond in July 2023 after spending the previous year-and-a-half at Longwood University in Farmville, Va., where she worked with the women's soccer and softball teams. From 2017 to 2022, she worked at Warner Pacific University in Portland, Ore., serving as the school's Head Athletic Trainer from 2018 to 2022.

Wang earned her Master's of Science in Athletic Training from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore. in 2017 and her Bachelor's of Science, Health and Human Performance, Physical Education and Exercise Science from VCU in 2013.

Wang is a certified athletic trainer through BOC, licensed in the commonwealth of Virginia and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
