• A multi-sport standout at Franklin High that has earned team MVP honors from football, basketball and track
• Earned All-Regional honors at receiver, tight end and returner and was also an Honorable Mention All-State pick as a returner
• Franklin won the a football state championship in 2008 and reached the state semifinals last season
• Played in the same district as incoming freshman Trevor Jones (Charles City), and in the same region as incoming freshman Aaron Roane (West Point)
• In basketball, he shattered a backboard dunking in a game as a junior
