Scored four touchdowns, two rushing, two passing in the win over Fordham, earning a career-high in scoring (Sept. 8)
Rushed five times for a 12 yards against Fordham

After being slotted to redshirt for the season, Johnson gave up his redshirt (on his own accord) to step in for the FCS Playoff run
In first career start, he tossed for 315 yards and his career TD in Richmond's playoff win over North Carolina A&T. He was the first Spider to ever throw for 300-plus yards in first career start
Followed that up with a 15-for-22, 289-yard, 2 TD performance in the Spiders' thrilling comeback win at #7 North Dakota in the second round of the FCS Playoffs
Finished the year 50-of-76 (65.8 completion percentage) for 761 yards and three TDs
