Amanda Pendleton joined the sports medicine staff at Richmond in July of 2025 and works with the women's lacrosse program.
Prior to Richmond, Pendleton gained experience at Liberty University as a graduate student working with the Flames women's lacrosse, women's basketball and women's soccer programs as well as serving as a student athletic trainer with the LU Campus Recreation & Intramural Sports department. Pendleton also worked a fall season at Richmond, specifically helping with the football program.
Pendleton also worked with the Virginia Tech sports medicine department as an undergraduate, working with student-athletes from the men's and women's tennis programs, as well as the men's and women's cross country and track and field programs. She has served as a Lifeguard at Liberty, Virginia Tech and NOVA of Virginia Aquatics as well as teaching Lifeguard and CPR certifications.
Pendleton graduated from Virginia Tech in May of 2023 with a bachelor's of science in Human Nutrition, Food and Exercise. She earned a Master's of Science in Athletic Training from Liberty University in May of 2025. She is certified athletic trainer through BOC, licensed in the commonwealth of Virginia and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association as well as a Certified Exercise Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
