Deon Batts, Jr. joined Richmond Athletics as a Creative Content and Social Media Manager in November 2023.
Prior to Richmond, Batts spent four-and-a-half years working as a Digital Media Intern at Averett University in Danville, Va. while finishing his undergraduate degree. He helped Averett's sports communications department with creating content for all 25 sports, and earned sixth-place and ninth-place national awards from College Sports Communicators in 2023 in the Pregame/Hype Video category.
Batts is a 2023 graduate from Averett University and holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Business Administration — Marketing and a Minor in Communications.
Batts currently resides in his hometown of Chester, Va.
