Jalynn Spaulding joined Richmond Athletics in a full-time capacity in May 2023 after working with Spider Performance as a graduate assistant during the 2022-23 school year.
Spaulding has collected Real Colors Facilitator certification to train staff and new student-athletes in and how to incorporate the results into their daily work.
Spaulding earned her Master's degree from the VCU Center for Sport Leadership in 2023, one year after graduating from Virginia State University with a Bachelor's degree in Health, Physical Education, & Recreation and a minor in Sports Management.
At VSU, Spaulding played for the women's basketball team and was a two-time President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She was also the school's nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year in 2022.
Spaulding is a native of Lawrenceville, N.J. and currently resides in Richmond.
