Raheem Hammond is in his first season on Head Coach Russ Huesman's staff, assisting Jerry Taylor with the wide receivers.
Hammond joined Richmond following the 2025 season at Millersville, where he served as Wide Receivers Coach. His wide receiver room included Colin Hastings, who led the team with 31 receptions for 501 yards and three touchdowns, and Jermaine Tillery, who recorded 23 receptions for 309 yards and three touchdowns. Hammond also worked with the return units, where JQ Brown ranked third in the PSAC in kickoff return average at 30.6 yards per return and recorded a 91-yard kickoff-return touchdown.
Prior to Millersville, Hammond spent five seasons at his alma mater, Snow Hill High School in Maryland. A former Snow Hill quarterback, he served three years as Offensive Coordinator before being promoted to Head Coach in 2023. Hammond helped end a 15-year drought without a winning season and led Snow Hill to back-to-back winning seasons in 2023 and 2024. He also developed multiple student-athletes who went on to play college football, including Zyheem Collick, who played at Bryant University and now continues his career at Charlotte.
A native of Maryland's Eastern Shore, Hammond earned his bachelor's degree in Applied Entrepreneurship from Grand Canyon University in 2026.
