Sophia Goldstein joined the Richmond Sports Medicine staff in July of 2026. At Richmond she will work with the field hockey program.

Prior to Richmond, Goldstein gained experience as an undergraduate and graduate student at Ithaca College. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science, pre-athletic training in May 2025 and her Master of Science in Athletic Training in May of 2026. As a member of the Ithaca Athletic Department Goldstein gained experience working with football, field hockey, men's lacrosse, cross country, swim and dive, basketball, wrestling and gymnastics as well as the IC Performing Arts Clinic. She also gained immersive clinical experience with the Michigan State football program in Spring of 2026.

Goldstein is a certified athletic trainer through BOC, licensed in the commonwealth of Virginia and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
