University of Richmond, Va. - University of Richmond connected on 15 three-pointers, a school record, en route to a 68-39 win over James Madison on Saturday evening at the Robins Center. The Spiders shot 69.2 percent from three-point range in the second half.
Richmond senior guard Rick Houston (Memphis, Tenn./Bartlett) pumped in a season-high 18 points and knocked down a career best six three-pointers. Sophomore center Pat Mitchell led the Dukes with 13 points while junior forward Tim Lyle collected 10 rebounds.
