Fresh off their first win of the 2001 season, the Spiders (1-4, 1-2) embark on their third straight road trip Saturday, visiting Northeastern (1-4, 1-3) in an Atlantic 10 matchup at Brookline, Mass. Richmond's 20-17 victory at league and state rival James Madison last Saturday was highlighted by Cordell Roane's first collegiate start at quarterback. The junior rushed for a game-high 128 yards on 33 carries. Defensively, Jonathan Wilfong returned to his native area and responded with a 10-tackle, two-quarterback sack performance as UR beat the Dukes for the seventh time in the past 10 meetings.
