Women's Soccer Match Cancelled

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - In light of President George W. Bush's declaration of a national day of mourning and a weekend of reflection, the University of Richmond Department of Athletics has cancelled all athletic events, home and away, through September 16, 2001. This includes the women's soccer home match Saturday against UNC Greensboro.

Any rescheduling of events will be announced at a later date. The athletic department expects to resume its normal schedule Monday, September 17.

The next scheduled match for Coach Peter Albright's women's soccer team is Tuesday September 18 at 7pm against William & Mary at First Market Stadium on the University of Richmond campus.
