Men's Tennis Competes at ODU Championships

NORFOLK, Va. - The University of Richmond men's tennis team competed in the ODU East Coast Championships over the past weekend, winning 13 single matches and eight doubles matches. The three-day tournament featured fifteen teams.
Junior Niki Doll (Heidelburg, Germany) compiled a 4-1 record in singles play, winning the Flight A Consolation bracket by defeating Daniel Prokes of Norfolk State.
Senior Dan Scrafford (Centreville, Va.) and junior David Donn (East Longmeadow, Mass.) each recorded three wins in Flight B singles matches.
Donn paired with sophomore Jeppy Moss (Fredericksburg, Va.) to advance to the finals of the Flight B Doubles competition before falling 8-1 to the duo of Mohammed/Oskarsson of Old Dominion.
Richmond ends their fall season December 2-8 when they compete in the Virginia State Winter Championships.
