Spiders, WRIC Set Broadcast Schedule

For the second consecutive season, WRIC-TV, Channel 8, will serve as the primary television outlet in Central Virginia for Spider Atlantic 10 basketball broadcasts. WRIC is the local ABC affiliate in the Richmond market.
Three men's games are scheduled to be broadcast live by Channel 8, all with air times of 7pm Eastern. The first telecast is Tuesday January 7 at nationally-ranked Xavier on the A-10 TV Network. On Wednesday January 15, the Spiders travel to A-10 West rival Dayton. WRIC will carry a feed of that telecast from Dayton affiliate WHIO-TV. The following Tuesday, January 21st, the A-10 TV Network will be at the Robins Center for the game with George Washington.
WRIC will also carry a regular-season women's telecast when the A-10 TV Network produces the Spiders' game at St. Bonaventure Sunday January 12. Air time is Noon Eastern.
Any Spider men's game in the quarterfinals and semifinals of the A-10 Tournament will also be carried live on WRIC-TV via the A-10 TV Network.
The Spiders' men's team will make two appearances on the ESPN Networks during the regular season. Both games will be at the Robins Center, hosting Temple at 8pm Eastern Saturday January 11 on ESPN2 and entertaining Xavier at Noon Eastern Saturday February 1 on ESPN. The Atlantic 10 Men's Tournament Championship Game will also air on ESPN.
Richmond also will appear regionally on Raycom Television when Wake Forest visits the Robins Center Saturday January 4 at 4pm Eastern. Here is the list of affiliates provided by Raycom that are scheduled to carry the game:
