Wachovia Challenge Presented By Marriott Moved To UR Stadium

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. -- Heavy rain has forced the 2002 Wachovia Challenge presented by Marriott to move from First Market Stadium to UR Stadium. The consolation game will still begin at Noon, while the championship game, featuring Richmond and James Madison, will begin at 2 p.m.
The Spiders advanced to the championship match with a 2-1 win against American in the first round on Friday, August 30. After playing 110 minutes of scoreless soccer, James Madison captured their semi-final match in a shootout. The consolation game pits Rutgers against American.
DIRECTIONS TO UR STADIUM
From the north: 95 South to 195 South (Downtown Expressway). Take Rosewood Avenue Exit. Turn left at McCloy Street. Stadium is on the right.
From the south: 95 North to 195 North (Downtown Expressway). Take Rosewood Avenue Exit. Turn left on McCloy Street. Stadium is on right.
From the west: 64 East to 195 South (Downtown Expressway). Take Rosewood Avenue Exit. Turn left on McCloy Street. Stadium is on right.
From the east: 64 West to 95 South. Take 195 North (Downtown Expressway). Take Rosewood Avenue Exit. Turn left on McCloy Street. Stadium is on right.
From UR campus: From Boatwright Drive turn right at Three Chopt Road. Turn left at Cary Street. Turn right on Freeman Road. Stadium is on the left.
