Richmond Head Coach Jerry Wainwright:
"I am really proud of our team. There were two factors that had us worried about tonight. Duquesne is a very good basketball team. We were very fortunate to win up there. Also last week against GW, we didn't bring the right attitude to the game on a school day. We talked a lot about attitude this week."
"I'm also proud that we had 84 points and only two kids in double figures. This team played efficient basketball."

"I thought Richmond played an excellent basketball game. They were prepared physically, they shot well, and just out played us. It started out like the first game in Pittsburgh, but eventually they just got too hot. We just got steamrolled. It was an ugly game for us."

"We knew we just had to play our game. We knew we were the better team from the start. If you go up by 20 in the first half, we should be able to win by 40 or 50."
