Men's Basketball Hosts Rhode Island on Saturday Evening

Richmond (12-11, 6-6 Atlantic 10) continues its two-game home stand this Saturday, Feb. 22, hosting the Rhode Island Rams at 7:30 p.m. The Rams (15-8, 7-5 A-10) are making their first trip to the Commonwealth since 1977.
The Spiders hold a 4-2 edge in the series which dates back to 1959. Richmond captured a 52-51 overtime win last season in Kingston, R.I.
As part of Richmond basketball alumni weekend, over 70 former Spiders are returning to the hardcourt. An alumni contest will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Admission is free.
