Women's Tennis Finishes Third in Atlantic 10 Championships

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Richmond women's tennis team placed third in the 2003 Atlantic 10 Championships after defeating #1 Xavier 4-1 this afternoon at The Tennis Center. The Spiders improve to 9-9 with the victory.
Seniors Vanessa Bagnato (Manhasset, N.Y.) and Casey Cohen (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.) and sophomores Lindsay Cox (Finchampstead, Workingham Berks, UK) and Courtney Klein (East Amherst, N.Y.) recorded wins in singles competition for the Spiders.
