Elizabeth Cushing Earns All-American Scholar Honors

University of Richmond sophomore Elizabeth Cushing earned National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team honors. To be chosen, the student-athlete must carry a 3.50-or-higher grade point average and have competed in at least 66 percent of the team's matches during the season.
The 2003 CAA Freshman of the Year, Cushing tied for 12th after carding a 245 (83-80-82) at the conference championships.
"All of us at the University of Richmond are so proud of Lizzie," head coach LaRee Sugg said. "It is quite an accomplishment for a freshman to receive this honor."
